Job Overview:
We are seeking a meticulous Quantity Surveyor to join our team. The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for managing all costs relating to building and civil engineering projects, from the initial calculations to the final figures.
We require the correct candidate to be available to work from various locations, Ballymena, Derry, Donegal. This job will also require some work from home.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities
- Evaluate tenders from contractors and subcontractors
- Track changes to the design and/or construction work and adjust budget projections accordingly
- Perform risk and value management and cost control
- Advise on procurement strategy
- Identify, analyze, and develop responses to commercial risks
- Prepare and analyze costings for tenders
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or related field
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or in a similar role
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Knowledge of construction contracts and cost control
- Proficiency in relevant software tools
