Salary: 58,095.00 per annum

Job Description:
We are currently seeking a skilled Painting Quantity Surveyor to join our maintenance contractor client of ours, based in Watford. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of quantity surveying related to painting projects, ensuring cost efficiency, quality, and timely completion.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare cost estimates and budgets for painting projects.
- Procure materials and subcontractors in accordance with project requirements and budget constraints.
- Monitor project costs and financial performance, identifying and addressing any deviations from the budget
- Conduct regular site visits to assess progress, quality, and compliance with specifications and regulations.
- Prepare and submit valuations, variations, and final accounts.
- Provide accurate and timely financial reports to management.
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients to resolve any commercial issues
- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and company policies
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in quantity surveying, Construction Management, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably within the painting sector
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, cost management, and procurement processes
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in relevant software applications, such as MS Excel and QS software
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
