An excellent role on offer for a Quantity Surveyor looking to work for a specialist in steel framing systems offering extensive progression up to Commercial Manager.

This company are a specialist in steel framing systems operating in the residential and commercial sectors throughout the UK. They provide an array of project and cost management services to both their public and private sector clients. Having grown throughout the pandemic and with a strong order book, they are now looking to bring in an Quantity Surveyor into their growing team.
Within this role you will be responsible for managing the costs of construction projects to ensure that the project is completed within projected budget and as economically as possible. Your responsibilities will include; forecast and price the project costs; review and prepare tender documents; ensuring that payment for applications are made within agreed time frame; procure services of sub-contractors; track any changes to the construction work as well as adjusting the project costs; Liaise with clients and all other construction professionals working on the project.
This role would therefore suite an ambitious individual with Quantity Surveyor experience within the construction industry who are looking to progress their carrier. You will have experience in negotiating NEC contracts as well as a broad knowledge of contractual law. The successful candidate will be seeking a long term role where they can progress into management.
