SalaryR&D Scientist
An exciting new opportunity has arisen for an R&D Scientist at an innovative chemical manufacturer based in Oxfordshire. As the R&D Scientist you will be responsible for driving R&D projects in collaboration with the Team Leader. You will also be responsible for developing novel materials to contribute to sustainable alternatives.
As the R&D Scientist you will have previous industrial experience in synthetic organic chemistry. You will also be degree educated in Chemistry or a related field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive R&D projects – including manufacturing scale-up.
- Develop novel materials,
- Collect and interpret analytical data from projects.
- Support NPD.
- Liaise closely between the wider team.
- Conduct your own synthesis projects.
Key Requirements:
- PhD in Organic Chemistry, or an MSc with previous industrial experience in synthetic organic chemistry.
- Practical experience in organic synthesis.
- Previous experience with material science.
- Experience delivering new products to the market is highly desirable.
