Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting in sourcing and screening potential Real Estate secondary investment opportunities globally, with a focus on Europe and Asia
- Performing in-depth valuation analysis of Real Estate assets and Real Estate private equity portfolios
- Conducting due diligence on a wide range of opportunities
- Leading the preparation of underwriting models, due diligence materials and detailed investment committee memos
- Assisting in transaction negotiation, structuring and execution
- Monitoring investments through regular interaction with fund sponsors and partners and attendance at annual meetings of Real Estate private equity funds
- Working on special projects, including assisting in capital raising, portfolio management and communications with investors
Qualified candidates will have:
- Minimum 2-5 years’ experience with a top-tier Real Estate private equity firm, Real Estate lender or Real Estate investment banking program
- Demonstrated investment experience across a range of property types, geographies and strategies
- Established network of Real Estate industry contacts and relationships
- Fluency in other European language(s) in addition to English a plus
- Excellent underwriting and valuation skills
- Proven proficiency across a variety of key business disciplines including corporate finance, capital markets, accounting and financial modelling
- Strong Excel and Powerpoint skills; knowledge of lease-by-lease software (e.g. Argus) a plus
- Ability to work independently and to show initiative and creativity in approach to problem solving
- Ability to articulate and present ideas effectively both orally and in written form
- Ability to multi-task with a fine-tuned attention to detail
- Team-player attitude and a desire to work on a wide range of projects
