About the role:
This is a front of house role, where you will be required to become the central point of contact between Consultants, Nurses, and our Patients.
Person Specification:
The successful candidate will be a professional and committed individual with relevant experience working in a front-of-house capacity, ideally within a private clinic/hospital; however, we would consider applications from individuals that have experience and a passion for patient/customer care within sales, retail or hospitality.
Job Specification:
- Provide a professional and warm reception service to all patients of the London Women’s Clinic.
- Maintain front of house and patient lounge areas throughout the day.
- Ensure all patients sign necessary consent forms prior to undergoing any procedures at the clinic. Scan and file all documentation onto patient files.
- Answer telephone calls in a professional and timely manner.
- Deal with incoming calls, enquiries etc. Undertake any bookings as necessary in conjunction with the IDEAS system. Respond to all patient enquiries in a timely manner and send any appropriate information out.
- Handle all payments for the clinic, process and log those appropriately, and be a gatekeeper for the finances of the clinic to ensure all patients pay on time and all payments due are taken. Provide accounts department with daily takings for banking.
- Be a key point of contact throughout the patient journey, providing answers and support where required.
- To work in conjunction with the Reception Manager and Operations Team - introducing and improving standards, procedures and activities within the clinic.
Knowledge/Skills/Experience:
- Previous experience working with a client or patient database.
- Excellent telephone manner
- Minimum 1 years’ experience working in an administrative, support or front of house position.
- Invoice processing/cashiering experience
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree (preferable)
- Keen interest in fertility sector/healthcare
