Job Description:
Recruit UK are working on an excellent opportunity for a receptionist to join a thriving office in Barnstaple.
This position is available within a thriving practice that operates across multiple locations in Devon. We are in search of a seasoned receptionist to become a valuable member of the team on a full-time basis. In this role, you can expect a diverse schedule, we are looking for an individual who takes pride in their work and enjoys interacting with clients and the team. The ideal candidate will be highly organised, outgoing, personable with a positive attitude.
Duties:
- Opening the office and ensuring meeting rooms are clean and tidy
- Answer calls, directing them, or taking messages
- Managing meeting room diary
- Meet and greet clients
- Data input
- Updating data on the system, ensuring in line with Data Protection Act
- Manage deposits and withdrawals
- Preparing and franking outgoing post and distributing post
- Other ad-hoc duties including photocopying, administration/secretarial support
Benefits:
- Salary up to £26,000
- Permanent and full time role (Saturday mornings included)
- 28 days holiday (including bank holiday, increasing to 33 with 3 years service)

Skills and experience required:
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Experience within customer/client facing administration/corporate receptionist role
- Positive attitude, reliable and able to manage tasks efficiently
- Takes imitative with reaching deadlines
- Efficient typing skills
- Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
