Job description

Office Angels are looking for an experienced Receptionist to join an environmental agency based in Southwark. This is a great opportunity to join a large team who focus on quality, innovation and growth.

The role of Receptionist is an integral role in the London office, being the face of the company for visitors and employees.

Duties:

  • First point of contact for all visitors, providing an exceptional standard of service with a positive attitude
  • Answering the phone, transferring calls and taking messages
  • Taking ownership of the reception area ensuring it is presented in a clean and tidy manner
  • Ordering lunches for events or meetings
  • Deal with all incoming and outgoing post, booking couriers, ordering business cards etc.
  • Making drinks for clients and organising refreshments
  • Petty Cash and support with credit card and expenses reconciliation
  • First Aider/Fire Warden - training will be provided
  • Scheduling reception rota for lunch cover
  • Effectively dealing with any office related questions/queries from colleagues and visitors to the office
  • Printing and binding documents
  • Arranging team socials
  • Updating contact lists and directories
  • Assist the Office Manager with various ad-hoc tasks to promote a positive culture and well-presented

Experience Required

  • Previous experience in a Front of House/Receptionist role
  • Strong communication skills, ability to build relationships and liaise at all levels
  • Computer literate with MS Office Packages including Word, Outlook and Excel
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Well-presented with an exceptional friendly and professional approach
