Adele Carr are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and reputable professional service firm located in the vibrant city of Blackburn on a Temporary basis with Potential to turn permanent. We are currently seeking a highly organised and customer-oriented Receptionist to join a friendly team.
Job Description: As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our clients and visitors. Your role will be crucial in creating a positive first impression and providing outstanding customer service. You will handle various administrative tasks while maintaining a welcoming and professional atmosphere in our office.
Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome clients and visitors with a friendly and professional demeanour.
Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and relay information to the appropriate staff members.
Manage the reception area, ensuring it is clean, organised, and presentable at all times.
Schedule and coordinate client appointments and meetings, ensuring efficient use of meeting rooms.
Assist with general administrative tasks, such as filing, data entry, and document management.
Receive and distribute incoming mail, packages, and deliveries.
Maintain office supplies and place orders when necessary.
Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth flow of communication and efficient operations.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a receptionist or in a customer service role is preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in using computer systems, including MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Professional appearance and demeanour.
