Overview:
We are seeking a organized individual with strong communication skills to join our team as an Accounting Receptionist. As an Accounting Receptionist, you will play a crucial role in greeting clients, maintaining accurate client records and supporting the day-to-day operations of our accounting department.
Responsibilities:
- Supervising the front desk and creating a welcoming environment for clients.
- Handling incoming calls and directing them to the appropriate team members.
- Managing client queries and providing accurate information or directing them to the appropriate department.
- Handling correspondence to clients in a professional and timely manner.
- Assisting with data management, including inputting and updating client information.
- Filing and archiving documents to maintain organized records.
- Assisting with various financial compliance tasks under the guidance of senior staff
Skills:
- Professional phone etiquette and strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Willingness to learn new software and adapt to changing technologies.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking effectively.
- Proactive and willing to use initiative to improve processes and enhance the client experience.
- Previous experience as an office receptionist within an Accountancy firm is beneficial but not required.
