Receptionist

We are excited to be recruiting for a Receptionist based at Royal College of Physicians. 

Applicants will need to be confident, friendly and professional in dealing with customers. Ideal candidates must be good team players, able to multitask and use their own initiative and, most importantly, be able to deliver excellent customer service. A minimum of one year reception experience in a similar venue is required. Typical duties will include:

Providing a warm welcome, assisting and directing guests, as the first point of contact
Handling telephone calls, emails and face to face enquiries in a professional and efficient manner
Operating the computer systems
General administration tasks
Aid in the smooth running of events by assisting the event managers as per the business needs
Preparing signage for the events 
Providing switchboard cover
Sales of memorabilia                                                                                                                                                                                                            Taxi bookings                                                                                                                                                                                                              Operating College car park bookings                                                                                                                                                                                    Handling card payments for memorabilia and parking                                                                                                                                                        Make meeting room bookings for internal meetings
