Job description

Andy File Associates Limited are working as a recruitment agency on behalf of our client with regards this permanent vacancy.

Our client is a distribution/manufacturing facility and is currently looking for the position outlined below due to an internal promotion.

Receptionist / Administrator


Job Description
Key Responsibilities

• Screening customer calls and taking detailed, accurate messages where necessary.
• Weekly stationery inventories to ensure all stock is up to date.
• Managing and distributing all incoming and outgoing post and couriers.
• Photocopying, faxing, binding, and filing all company documents.
• Organising refreshments.
• Helping company employees with email correspondence.
• Updating contact lists on the company database.
• Taking care of and booking in visitors in reception.
• Office cover during staff holidays.
• Assisting the Facilities Manager with regular health and safety checks.
• Ad-hoc secretarial duties, including running personal errands and booking lunches.
• Processing vendor invoices.
• Preparing documentation for overseas customers.
• Uploading documentation to customer specific portals.


Essential requirements
• Confident with all Microsoft Office packages.
• Knowledge of SAP is advantageous, but not compulsory.
• Polite telephone manner.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Hours of work 37.5 Monday - Friday 9.00 - 5.30pm (1 hour lunch)
