Smart Law Solicitors are currently recruiting for a Receptionist/Administrator to join our Huddersfield office on a permanent, full time basis after an initial probationary period.
We are seeking a reliable and organized Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our company, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive and welcoming experience for our clients and visitors. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate person or department
- Provide general administrative support, including data entry, filing, and photocopying
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars
- Opening files and completing ID checks and completing work set by solicitors and management.
- Performing admin duties such as typing, sorting mail, and organizing documents for client files.
- Utilize computerized systems such as various software programmes for various tasks
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Receptionist or in a similar role is preferable but not essential as training not required.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong data entry skills with high accuracy.
- Proficient in using computer software.
- Professional phone etiquette and customer service skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with general office equipment such as printers, scanners, and fax machines
