Reconciliations Administrator
  • Location: Glasgow (Hybrid Working)
  • Job Type: Full-time

Reed Accountancy are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a finance professional to join our client as a Reconciliations Administrator. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring reconciliations are completed in accordance with internal processes and FCA guidelines. This position offers the flexibility of hybrid working.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Complete internal and external client money bank account reconciliations for all accounts, adhering to FCA Guidelines and internal processes.
  • Investigate, resolve, and record issues related to client money bank account reconciliations, monitoring them continuously within agreed timeframes.
  • Conduct individual/joint bank account reconciliations following FCA Guidelines.
  • Address and document any problems or queries related to individual/joint bank account reconciliations, ensuring ongoing monitoring within set timeframes.
  • Assist with the completion of the monthly Client Money Asset Return.
  • Support the management of the funding process and reconciliation of payments.
  • Record breaches promptly and escalate them to senior management as necessary.
  • Provide support for non-BAU activities as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • A solid understanding of the Client Money rules set by the FCA is essential.
  • Experience working in an office environment with strong communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages.
