Recoveries Case Handler
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a small, friendly, dynamic but growing team within a large corporate group, based in Chester.

Hours: 9.00-5.30 with an hour for lunch
Office based
There is also the opportunity to earn monthly comission in this role.
Your role will be based in the busy Recoveries Department and you will undertake direct branch case reviews, administrative work, optimise the income recovery and develop indirect and direct debt cases.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Dealing with New cases from inception to completion
- Day-to-day knowledge of cases within the department
- To drive recovery of debt income on cases
- To keep the Management team up to date with case progress
- Production of template and free format letters
- Seek legal guidance from in-house solicitors, where needed
The ideal candidate must have:
- Meticulous attention to detail
- A professional telephone manner
- Good written and assertive communication skills
- Good listening, negotiation and persuasion skills
- An interest in investigating cases and problem solving
- An ability to self-learn
- A strong work ethic and willingness to be successful in the role
- Experience obtained within a Collections environment or similar, is preferred but not essential
