Business Support Manager/ Finance Analyst

Working within the Markets Platform Business Management team, which following a recent restructure is now aligned to three core pillars: Governance, Risk & Reporting, Resourcing, Culture & Comms, and Finance & Portfolio Management. This role will be embedded within the Finance and Portfolio Management team and therefore the role will be heavily focused on Project Finances, but with the flexibility to pick up ad hoc requirements to support the other pillars as they arise.
Key functions will be:
* Supporting the Labs within the Platform to manage their costs using the correct processes.
* Interlocking Inbound and Outbound funding, both within and outside of the Platform, to ensure the money is transferred at the right time for the right value.
* Reporting on monthly forecasts vs actuals, investigating and explaining any variances within the accuracy of forecasts.
* Raising Purchase Order requests and supporting with Invoicing management.
* Collaborating with Lab Product Owners and Engineering Leads to establish a view of the Total Cost of Ownership on their applications.
* Supporting the Platforms BAU budget management, ensuring identification of any new or revised OPEX is logged and communicated at the earliest opportunity.
* Completing Capitalisation Assessments.
* Being open minded to change, and engaging with the Finance Transformation activity being undertaken within Lloyds.

* Proven experience in financial management, investment analysis, and strategic planning.
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with curiosity to get to the root cause of a situational issue and support innovative thinking and the operational solution to resolve.
* Excellent communication and relationship building skills to form strong working relationships across our teams.
* Balance assertiveness with co-operation to enable truly collaborative working partnerships and achieve shared outcomes.
Experience working with project governance & reporting tools like CMT/Jira and Jira Align/Power BI
Background:
Knowledge of Commercial Banking would be highly beneficial to be able to interpret project updates and ensure the message is understandable to those outside the area.
Proven track record of producing senior level packs and communications
