We're looking for a Recruiter to join our team to assist PeopleScout RPO in finding the best talent for our client Virgin Media in the exciting space of direct-to-consumer sales.

The Role

You'll have the accountability to fill client vacancies by using your candidate engagement and assessment skills to quickly screen and select inbound job applicants, connecting them with an exciting career opportunity. You'll be responsive and communicative, providing a high touch candidate experience as a regular point of contact. This is not about sourcing or cold approaches but you will actively promote vacancies across social channels, and select passive candidates from CV databases.

As well as your candidate facing work, you'll be a key stakeholder for our client, providing progress updates and advice on best practice assessment and hiring to build fantastic external relationships with Sales Managers. The sort of service which keeps our clients coming back time and time again.

You will be working on one account within our RPO team of Recruiters, seeking out the right candidates to meet the client's needs, so day to day tasks will include: taking briefs from hiring managers, putting together recruitment plans, screening applications, interviewing, closing offers of employment through to facilitating the onboarding and vetting process.

Who we're looking for

Your ability to deliver a high touch recruitment service will be your key to success. You'll be comfortable building effective relationships, with external hiring managers and internal colleagues alike. On the client side, your stakeholder management skills will build confidence, trust and positive endorsement of you personally, and PeopleScout as a partner to Virgin Media's sales teams. You'll also be familiar with candidate care and assessment techniques to attract and engage the best job applicants.

Your keen eye for detail, coupled with your natural curiosity about people and their backgrounds will help you in engaging and influencing the candidates you speak with, as sales recruitment work can be challenging.

You'll also have:

• Tenacity and creativity to fill roles the first time
• Ability to build client and candidate relationships
• Ability to plan and adapt recruitment activity within changing business priorities

You'll ideally need some experience in a recruiting role that includes a variety of skill sets either in an agency, RPO, or in-house, and strong communication and relationship building skills. Alternatively, if you are experienced in consumer sales and understand what it takes to succeed in this area you might have the skill set to recruit for similar roles.
