Recruitment Administrator

Are searching for a Recruitment Administrator, you will be a vital member of their central team, providing proactive and top-notch administrative support to the Director of Development and People Manager whilst managing the recruitment process. Your role as a Recruitment Administrator will empower them to effectively fulfil their responsibilities and contribute to the strategic goals of the organisation. Your role will be centred around Admin and Recruitment.
Role and Responsibilities
Within your role as a Recruitment Administrator you will be involved in the following tasks:
Administrative:
- Deliver comprehensive administrative support to the Director of Development and People Manager, overseeing office maintenance, facilities, and equipment.
- Manage office procedures such as risk assessments, signage, and fire safety tests.
- Act as the primary point of contact, warmly greeting visitors and handling incoming parcels.
- Maintain administrative systems and databases, ensuring meticulous record-keeping and precise data input.
- Coordinate the ordering of office supplies and ensure the kitchen is consistently stocked with essentials.
- Organize and execute monthly social events.
Recruitment:
- Collaborate with the People Manager on recruitment administrative tasks.
- Craft and post compelling job advertisements on various online platforms, including Indeed.
- Maintain and update the candidate tracker/database.
- Schedule interviews for hiring managers and candidates, while also coordinating with external recruiters as needed.
- Resolve issues efficiently, including interview cancellations.
- Conduct initial HR screening interviews.
- Contribute to new hire onboarding by preparing documents and coordinating induction training plans.
Required Experience & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in office administration and/or recruitment.
- Basic Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
Preferred Skills:
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Strong time management skills.
- Effective organizational and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to multitask.
- Continuous focus on process improvement.
- Previous experience collaborating with third-party vendors.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication skills (written & verbal).
- Proficient IT skills (Microsoft Office, GSuite, Excel, etc.).
Going the Extra Mile:
- Previous experience in recruitment administration.
- Familiarity with recruiting software and leveraging social networks (LinkedIn) for recruitment.
- Awareness of health and safety procedures and regulations.
- Understanding of various hiring practices and stages (screening, interviews, assessments, etc.).
