Key Responsibilities:
- Support the end-to-end recruitment process for selected vacancies, ensuring all stages are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Identify and agree on the most effective attraction methods to reach the best candidates.
- Create compelling job adverts that attract top talent.
- Ensure vacancies are advertised across appropriate platforms to maximise reach.
- Coordinate and manage the application process, ensuring a smooth experience for all candidates.
- Organise and conduct interviews, ensuring a professional and efficient process.
- Support the facilitation of group assessment days.
- Arrange medicals for new and existing drivers.
- Liaise with our client to organise and support job fayres, careers events, local education programmes etc.
- Ensure all Right to Work, medicals and other critical recruitment processes are followed.
- Always deliver outstanding customer service to both customers and colleagues.
- Report weekly/ monthly figures to the Recruitment Manager to support the trend analysis.
Knowledge and Qualifications:
Essential:
- Previous experience in a resourcing/recruitment role.
- Knowledge of legislation covering recruitment and selection processes.
- Driving Licence.
- Ability to build rapport quickly.
- Solid knowledge of MS Office packages.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Desirable:
- Experience of using an ATS (Applicant Tracking System).
- L2 Recruitment Resourcer qualification.
- Knowledge of effective advertising routes to attract the best candidates.
- Knowledge of compiling job descriptions.
- Knowledge of the transport sector.
