Prime Life are on the lookout for a passionate and proactive individual to join our dynamic Recruitment team in Leicester as a Recruitment Coordinator. Some relevent experience within a similar role, perhap from an in-house role, is essential.

As a Recruitment Coordinator, you will proactively manage vacancies within a number of Nursing and Residential homes across the UK. The role will require regular travel, so a Full UK Driving License is essential. The key responsibilities for this role will include:

  • Liaising with home managers weekly to establish thier recrruitment needs
  • Maintaining regular contact with new hires during their offer and on-boarding to ensure tthat any questions or queries they have are resolved
  • Advertising vacancies across a variety of platforms and mediums via an applicant tracking system
  • Carrying out pre-employment checks for new hires, including requesting references and carrying our DBS checks
  • Sending out letters, emails and communication to prospective and new employees
  • Data entry, data collation and utilisation of Excel spreadsheets to track progress on Referencing and DBS checks
  • Attending recruitment fairs and careers events as and when required
  • Providing weekly updates to the management team and home managers

What are we looking for in our Recruitment Coordinator?

You'll need to be a confident, enthusiastic and proactive individual to make a real success of this role. With plenty to keep you busy, and lots of recruitment activity required, time management skills and the ability to prioritise is essential. You'll spend a lot of time on the phone communicating with new and prospective employees, key stakeholders within the company and outside agencies, so a professional and friendly telephone manner is essential.

We are keen to hear from individuals who have experience within Health and Social Care, though this is not essential. Prior experience within a recruitment or HR position, ideally within an internal position, is key for this role as you will need to be able to quickly develop relationships and manage your vacancies to place candidates within tight deadlines.
