We're looking for a Team Leader to join our RPO department and support our Royal Mail Recruitment Team!
Joining the Royal Mail team, you will be supporting the recruitment of high calibre candidates to fill current and potential roles throughout the year.
Our client (Royal Mail) is responsible for making sure every single letter and parcel reaches the right person as soon as possible. Posties collect the day’s deliveries from the sorting office and head out to deliver it to the community, whilst their sorting teams continue to process mail arriving from around the country.
What's a Team Leader?
As a Team Leader, you'll be expected to lead a team of junior recruiters in fulfilling high volume recruitment demands from the client. You'll need to be confident monitoring targets, managing performance, and managing client relationships alongside the wider leadership team.
You'll be:
- Managing your own job requisitions from advert to offer
- Monitoring the performance of your team against contractual KPIs
- Implementing performance management techniques when necessary
- An escalation point for issues within your team/the client
- Building and managing a relationship with key stakeholders and hiring managers
What are we looking for?
We're looking for someone with leadership experience in a high-volume, fast-paced, environment. You'll need to have demonstratable evidence of working towards and exceeding targets and expectations.
- Ability to manage high-volume and fast-paced environments
- Experience managing/leading a team in a performance-driven setting
- Confidence in client facing settings
- Excellent relationship management skills
Experience in a recruitment setting is not essential, we are also happy to consider individuals from areas with transferable skills such as call-centres and sales teams.
