Job Purpose: To provide an effective, supportive and confidential service for women and children requiring emergency refuge accommodation. To ensure that the refuge operational policies procedures are implemented and adhered to, and that all statistical data is collated and maintained for stakeholders and funding bodies. To support the Refuge Services Co-ordinator in developing the Refuge Service to deliver the best possible outcomes for refuge residents.
Essential Requirements: Relevant qualification and/or two years’ experience of working with women and children who are experiencing domestic violence, for a statutory or voluntary agency. Experience of safeguarding vulnerable adults and children. The ability to use Microsoft office is essential. Full driving license, car business insurance & use of a car to travel is essential.
Desirable Requirements: Experience in working in a residential setting.
