My client is an established, award-winning Financial Services business, specialising in supporting growing businesses across the UK with tailored bespoke finance solutions to help them drive their growth forward. Their team has built a fantastic reputation in the industry as one of the best and the business has been going from strength to strength. They have been around for over 30 years, very established with very high staff retention within the business as well. They have a brilliant, sociable team culture where people are valued and respected and are given opportunities to grow and develop, which has resulted in very low staff turnover. They are now looking to grow again and is looking for a Regional Account Manager to manage new and existing accounts in their West Midlands territory.
As a Regional Account Manager, you'll be responsible for building and nurturing new and existing relationships with clients and prospective clients (SMEs) across the West Midlands. Your goal will be to service these clients, assisting them with funding requirements through your panel of lenders whilst delivering against gross profit targets. My client has a proven support infrastructure and you will have an experienced team of Administrators, Sales Support, Underwriting and Marketing to support you in your day to day role. A full training program will also be in place so we are not necessarily looking for someone with in-depth lending experience however an understanding of commercial finance would be advantageous.
The role will be a mixture of home and field based as you will be expected to manage your own diary and to go out to meet customers face to face.
Requirements of the Regional Account Manager:
- Proven experience within a field based Sales or Account Manager role where you are managing your own diary
- B2B sales/account management experience is ideal
- Ability to work under pressure and in a target driven environment
- Self-starter and hard-working
- Team player and strong stakeholder management skills
- Full UK driving license
