Regional Accountant

Regional Accountant required in the Reading area

• Up to £60,000 + bonus (Depending on Experience)
• Working Hours: Monday - Friday 

Our client an independently owned Main Dealer Group is looking for a proactive Regional Dealership Accountant to join their successful team. 
You will be covering 4 multi-franchise sites, overseeing the current team of accountants and assistants whilst working closely with sites Heads of Business to analyse the financial processes and trends to drive the profitability of the Groups sites.
You must have commercial understanding and a previous motor trade accountants proven track record. You will be based at their Reading location but will be expected to travel to the other sites on a regular basis. 
To be eligible for this role you need to have the following Skills: 

• Monthly accounts preparation 
• VAT returns and PAYE
• Bank reconciliations
• Nominal ledger maintenance
• Liaison with external auditors, directors, operational managers
• Management, mentorship and supervision of accounts team
• Debtor control
• Manufacturer warranty reconciliation
• Payroll supervision

The Ideal Regional Accountant will be able to work under your own initiative whilst also supporting other members of the business. You will have experience in financial reporting, management and be able to demonstrate your ability to understand complex detail and present it in a simple and effective way.
Experience of the motor industry is a necessary requirement for the role.
