Regional Director of Investigation

Description

A unique opportunity to step into a newly created Director of Investigation role, leading our ethics and compliance investigations team across EMEA, India, China, and APAC. With a diverse range of cases, you will also direct company-wide strategies, initiatives, and programs. In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Directing the strategic development of our investigations function to become world class, aligning company policies with legislative requirements, and promoting a culture of ethical and compliant behavior.
  • Managing investigations and providing subject matter expertise to critical partners on all matters pertaining to investigations.
  • Leading and developing a skilled investigations team who are responsible for conducting internal investigations of potential policy violations, across employee relations, risk mitigation, internal audit, regulatory compliance, and internal controls.
  • Interpreting and analyzing trends in investigation data; collaborating with human resources, legal and internal and external parties to prepare and present recommended actions.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of business needs and through a partnership approach will work to overcome barriers and areas of resistance, engaging with Right Environment, Ethics & Compliance, Human Resources, and business leadership.
  • Recruiting, developing, managing, motivating, coaching, and mentoring your team and managers.

This role is based in the UK on a hybrid basis (from our Darlington or Daventry site) and will require around 25% travel across the regions covered and occasionally to the US.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • International experience of leading investigations, across a range of areas including but not necessarily all; employee relations, risk mitigation, internal audit, regulatory compliance, and internal controls.
  • Experience working in a global capacity, with the ability to navigate complex policy, process, and people-related organizational dynamics.
  • With People Leadership experience you will enjoy coaching, developing, and creating culture of continuous improvement, and potentially have experience setting up a similar function.
  • Experienced in supporting colleagues and teams through change, achieving, and sustaining business results and outcomes, with the ability to step up to address difficult issues when needed.
  • Demonstrated use of a range of Investigation tools/processes to resolve complex cases.
  • Having a global perspective, taking a broad view when approaching issues, using a global lens.
  • Enjoy discovering, interpreting, and communicating qualitative and quantitative data to create conclusions that incorporate knowledge of business or functional frameworks.
  • Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred in Human Resources, Business, Criminal Justice or related field.

You will be rewarded with:
