A fantastic role of Regional HR Manager for one of our leading clients based in Barsnley South Yorkshire, to cover the South West, including Bristol and Wales. The business is highly regarded in its sector, hugely successful and growing with a multi-million pound turnover. This role will require travel across the region so you should be comfortable with regular travel and nights away from home. This role offers a salary between £45,000 - £50,000 plus a car.
The successful candidate will create strong business partnering relationships with Internal Stakeholders, fully partnering with one or more geographical areas and leading on the delivery of the People Plan through project management, change management and people development activities, in addition to taking responsibility for the line management of one or more direct reports
Being seen as an HR Leader in HR matters by the key stakeholders and leadership team for the region, the main areas of responsibility for the HR Manager will focus on:
- Adding value by having a strong commercial awareness of the business environment both wider and local.
- Being seen as a trusted business partner to the regional and business-wide leadership team.
- Leading on the development and implementation of HR change projects.
- Leading with Union negotiations utilising a strongly developed relationship.
- Leading on restructuring projects.
- Being a change agent to move the dial on the organisational cultural journey.
- Leading on key recruitment activity particularly at a senior level.
- Becoming a key member of the regional/business management teams and attending the management meetings and other relevant meetings.
Our ideal candidate will be an experienced, fully CIPD qualified generalist HR professional with strong commercial and business awareness. You will be able to evidence relevant experience of leading and managing change at a regional business partnering level, and possess experience of using management information to influence regional people plans and strategies. You should also have experience of writing data-based reports that are used to inform and influence the Company people strategy, and of union negotiation
Strong influencing skills utilised to move the dial on change and other improvement projects are essential, as is being comfortable communicating at all levels including presenting to the Board. This role will require travel across the region and so you should be comfortable with regular travel and nights away from home.
