About the role:
Astute’s Renewables team is partnering exclusively with a key business and influential player in the UK Anaerobic Digestion market. The main purpose of this role is to be accountable for a couple of sites in the South East region and to assist the senior staff with other projects across the portfolio.
This Regional Manager / Regional Plant Manager role comes with a salary of up to �75,000 with a comprehensive package.

Responsibilities and duties:
Reporting to the Regional Manager you will:
* Have full accountability for the two sites, its compliance, profitability and managing all operational aspects on a daily basis
* Managing the two sites effectively to promote positive, HSE centric assets
* Liaise with all relevant governing bodies when necessary and deal with any escalation
* Communicating tasks, responsibilities and expected levels of performance including conducting annual performance reviews, identifying training and development needs and chairing team briefs at the required level
* Developing and maintaining relationships with influential key internal and external stakeholders including customers, competitors, local government stakeholders and internal networks.
* Attend safety management meetings when necessary
* Provide asset reviews where necessary
* Provide cover for the northern region when required
* Other duties are required
Professional qualifications:
We are looking for someone with the following:
* A higher education in a relevant engineering discipline is preferable
* WAMITAB L4 in Anaerobic Digestion
* UK driving licence
* Experience in Anaerobic Digestion and if not, a very similar process
* Excellent, demonstrable experience in managing teams
Personal skills:
The Regional Manager role would suit someone who is:
* A problem-solver and self-starter
* Excellent verbal and written English language
* A flexible person who can travel
