Job Introduction

Rapport is hiring a Regional Manager that will oversee multiple client locations in the North of UK, including Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Manchester, Leeds and Isle of Man.

The successful candidate with provide exceptional front and back of house services as required and oversee the hospitality and catering function across the regional estate. The main goal is to provide an outstanding client experience whilst maintaining high standards, ensuring the team is compliant with all H&S requirements, and financial awareness is maintained.

This is a hybrid role that will involve both on site and and remote working with UK wide travel. 

Areas of Responsibility:

  • Developing and maintaining relationships with clients, guests, decision-makers, understanding their drivers and the nature of their business
  • Managing and inspiring a large team of guest services agents across a geographical range of client buildings
  • Managing all aspects of the operation including staffing structure, overseeing team rotas, generating client/guest innovations, operational HR management and ER support
  • Analysing and managing effectively all in unit costs
  • Perform monthly financial activities to ensure client budget is met.
  •  Full ownership of all H&S Compliance across the team including risk assessments, FSMS and WSMS

Key Responsibilities:

  • To support each local client and the onsite team in managing the guest and client services.
  • To lead, mentor and coach a large team of Rapport ambassadors.
  • To take personal ownership and responsibility for the standards of service delivered at our Client locations.
  • To ensure excellent reporting and account management disciplines are maintained at all times.
  • To support account retention and contract growth, including generating innovations that enhance and maintain a seamless and personal guest journey.
  • Travel frequently / weekly.
  • Regional Offices include Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds, Isle of Man, Manchester. 

The successful candidate will:

  • Have extensive experience of managing Front of House operations, including business support and guest services.
  • Be mobile and available to travel a few days each week.
  • Have experience within luxury hotels or the corporate business environment.
  • Have commercial and financial experience of running successful business operations.
  • Have an excellent command of the English language, both in verbal and written communication.
  • Be highly organised and have an eye for detail.
  • Have great interpersonal skills and a natural ability to positively influence business decisions.
  • Have passion to achieve excellent guest service in everything that they do.
  • Be able to work well under pressure and have the ability to be proactive and act with intuition.
  • Ideally have previous experience in managing multiple sites and/or multi teams across different locations.
