National Sales Manager / Sales Manager / Business Development Manager required to join a global pumps manufacturer.
The successful National Sales Manager / Sales Manager / Business Development Manager will be responsible for new business development and key account management with major customers across the North for various pump products and systems including industrial, submersible pumps, metering pumps going into the industrial market including oil and gas.
The ideal National Sales Manager / Sales Manager / Business Development Manager will ideally have end-user sales experience within pumps, wastewater, valves, rotating equipment, compressed air or similar fluid power products/applications.
This role is a fantastic opportunity for a hungry technical salesperson to join a large manufacturer and progress within industrial pump sales.

National Sales Manager / Sales Manager / Business Development Manager RoleManage a number of established key accounts and new business development via distribution channels and OEM customers within the pumps sector.Liaise with customers to identify specifications/requirements and offer technical pumping solutions.Sell a range of industrial pumps, submersible pumps, and metering pumps into various industries including oil and gas.
Building an already large and integral part of the business, moving into an industrial market.Maintain new pump system sales with demonstration, exhibition and negotiation in order to achieve targets.Working closely with the Service Department to ensure an excellent standard of after-sales service is provided.Liaise with various engineering departments.Fully remote covering UK preferably based in the north.
National Sales Manager / Sales Manager / Business Development Manager RequirementsExperience as a Key Account Manager, Account Manager, Area Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Business Development Manager, Technical Sales Engineer or similar within rotating equipment.Experience selling, managing or servicing pumps, valves, MRO products, capital equipment, rotating equipment or similar mechanical engineering products & applications.Experience with oil and gas would be beneficial.
A technical engineering degree would be advantageous.Full clean driving license.Home-based, willingness to travel to customer sites across the UK
