About the role:
Astute's Renewables team is working with a market leader in renewable energy. The company own and operate three state of the art facilities that produces biogas from food waste through the process of anaerobic digestion. They are looking for an experienced Regional Sales Manager for their site in East London.
The Regional Sales Manager will play a vital role in managing the sales of the Company's recycling services within the designated territory and/or accounts. The role comes with a salary of £45,000, car allowance or company car and excellent benefits package.

Responsibilities and duties:
Reporting to the Director/Head of Supply Chain you will:

• Managing the sales of the company's recycling services within the designated territory and/or accounts.
• To manage the Regional Sales team to ensure all agreed targets and objectives are achieved.
• Control the raw material supply chain to ensure compliance with legal requirements and to maintain the appropriate revenue and quality objectives.
• Ensure that PAS 110 Digestate compliance is maintained and oversee the 3rd party digestate contractors.
• Maintain contact with existing customers, monitor trading levels and maximise opportunities for additional business.
• Prepare quotes in line with the agreed pricing strategy and re-negotiate terms where appropriate.
• Gather and maintain up-to-date market intelligence within the local area, monitor competitor activity (services and prices), and communicate where necessary
• Develop new business for the food waste recycling service
• Liaise with operations teams to ensure efficient, cost effective operations.
• Marketing, Public Relations & Technical Support
• Represent the company at trade events and seminars.
• Other duties as required

Professional qualifications:
We are looking for someone with the following:

• Educated to a minimum A-Level, or equivalent

Personal skills:
The Sales Manager role would suit someone who has:

• Experience working in sales at a management level
• Experience working the waste/recycling sector and food waste industry
• Experience working within a commercial B2B sales environment
• Excellent communication and oral presentation skills
• A passion for the renewable energy and sustainability sector
