Registered Manager

We are looking for a Care Manager for a well-established private social care provider offering services to children and adolescence.

The unit you will manage is brand new, has 6 large bedrooms, and an education room. They are also planning to invite more specialists to help the support workers with their recommendations.

You will be working in a fantastic environment with the best facilities, and as part of a highly skilled, fun team delivering high-quality person-centred care.

The role in a nutshell:

You are expected to confidently guide the home through its Ofsted Registration process in a timely fashion and to successfully register with Ofsted as the 'Registered Manager'.

Main responsibilities:

• To manage the day to day running of the children's home and ensure that it meets the expectations and standards as set out in its Statement of Purpose.
• To ensure that the home is consistently meeting standards set by the company and set out in legislation (the Children's Homes Regulations 2015 for example), and to ensure that the home is continuously operating within the Ofsted Registration criteria.
• To confidently lead the home though any external and internal inspection and audits / inspections.
• To safeguard and promote the welfare of children and ensure that the home remains fully compliant with all legislation, in particular, that set out in the Children's Homes Regulations 2015, including the Quality Standards.
• To establish and maintain a competent, motivated, and confident staff team and to offer leadership, managerial direction, guidance, and support to staff at all levels.
