Our client is currently searching for a fantastic Registered Manager to join their outstanding team in leading six of their supported living sites in Swindon. This service is a welcoming and friendly environment with a dynamic team that supports a fantastic group of people aged between 16 and 50 years old. They have already achieved CQC Outstanding and now want to keep maintaining that and keep improving.
Our Registered Manager will be working alongside local authorities, healthcare professionals and the families of the people we support as well as leading a team to ensure that people gain more independence in their daily lives and have positive outcomes.
Key Responsibilities for the Registered Manager role
- You will be managing the day-to-day running of the service(s), developing and implementing person centred support plans, conducting care needs assessments
- Recruiting and inducting new colleagues
- Completing supervisions/appraisals
- Completing medication competencies and medication audits,
- Attending multi-disciplinary meetings
- Completing audits and reports
- Effectively manage the service, ensure regulatory, legislative, internal and contractual requirements are met including relevant notifications and adherence to policies and procedures.
- You will also take part in the on-call rota

We're interested in our Registered Manager having both the right experience and the right values. This is why at this service our Registered Manager should have previous experience as a CQC Registered Manager and be willing and able to undertake another CQC registration as well as having experience working with individuals with learning disabilities, autism and challenging behaviours.
The company also hopes to additionally grow in the Children's sector as well in the future so any experience of OFSTED regulations is a big advantage but not essential.
