Howard Finley Care are recruiting for a new Registered Manager to work within our clients residential children's homes that deal with severe, profound, or multiple learning and/or physical disabilities who may have complex health care needs.
About You:
- Must have great communicational skills, written and verbal.
- Diploma Level 5 in Leadership and Management in Residential Childcare - or willingness to work toward and complete within 2 years.
- Great track record of 'Good' or 'Outstanding' with Ofsted within other management roles you've held.
- To have a caring and soft approach as well as being able to be firm and authoritative.
Registered Manager vacancy details:
- Up to £50,400 per annum.
- Up to £750 car allowance.
- 37 hours per week.
- 6 bedded residential home.
- Great reputation.
- Generally Monday - Friday with some flexibility to meet the needs of the service.
Registered Manager main duties:
- Creating a highly professional setting that provides a warm, nurturing home environment for the young people to live in.
- You will lead, inspire, and motivate your team to hold the highest aspirations for the young people, you will liaise closely with Ofsted to ensure regulatory compliance and excellence, whilst creating a safe environment'.
- You'll be responsible for creating and maintaining the culture across the service that seeks to support staff to provide high quality care towards transforming the young people's lives.
- You and your staff will work closely with the young people's family, health, education, and social care partners, to provide them with high quality support.
