We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced individual to join our management team at Montague Road in the role of Registered Manager. Montague Road is a care home supporting 24 people with mental health needs in later life, including complex dementia.
You will be responsible for effectively leading a large staff team to ensure that all Customers receive focused support. The role will ensure effective support systems are in place and also co-ordination of staff teams.

The role of Registered Manager will include:
- Leading the overall delivery of the service, through the management of the team and liaison with the Area Service Manager
- Developing and maintaining relationships with customers and relevant external agencies, liaising effectively with statutory and voluntary partners
- Overseeing the overall delivery of the housing management of the property
- Delivering contract KPI’s
- Overseeing the service’s financial performance and managing the budget to maximise income
- Managing the recruitment, performance management and development of staff
- Flexibility around working hours is expected in accordance with the needs of the service
- Responsibility for health and safety in the service
Skills and experiences:
- Previous experience of working in a managerial role within a similar service, you will be able to demonstrate strong interpersonal, leadership and problem solving skills
- Strong communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Compassionate, caring and hard working with a hands-on approach to care management
- You will have experience of working in a personalised way supporting customers to maximise opportunities for personal development
- Knowledge of Positive Behaviour Support
- Proven ability to liaise effectively with statutory and voluntary partners
- Good information technology skills with a working knowledge of MS Teams, Word & Excel. Training will be provided for additional computer systems in use
- Travel is a requirement of the role, therefore a full valid driving licence is essential
