Compass Associates have partnered with one of the UK's largest complex care provider to recruit a Registered Manager for their long standing reputable specialist brain injury neurological care centre supporting adults with either a brain injury or complex neurological condition
Strong Operators who offer a proven a record of running successful services, mental health / learning disabilities for example should apply, specific Neuro Rehab experience will of course be an advantage but is not essential.
As Registered Manager you will report to the groups operations director and will be responsible for ensuring the effective delivery of high quality patient centred services. You will lead an inspiring, engaged and motivated team and be responsible for the strategic direction of the service ensuring that it meets the business objectives, financial objectives and market demand.
Key areas of responsibility include but are not limited to:
Ensure the care and treatment delivered by the Service is high quality, safe and patient centred at all times
Lead and inspire a valued team, maximising the potential of the individuals within it
Ensure all the people we support and colleagues are safeguarded and any concerns are raised via the appropriate process including Speak Up; its important Just Culture and Behaviours are embedded and that these are naturally acted at all times
Direct line management of the senior management team, ensuring senior management cover arrangements, including out of hours on-call
Responsible for ensuring that all care standards, regulatory standards, and other quality measurement criteria are met, if not exceeded
Work independently with responsibility for all aspects of running the service including budgetary management (income and expenditure) and all statutory compliance of the property including fire management, infection prevention and control the services and facilities
Ensure that robust Local Integrated Governance arrangements are in place, and that the Quality & Performance Management System is maintained to a high standard
Build excellent relationships with all colleagues, visitors, carers and regulatory bodies
Requirements
QCF / NVQ Level 5 Health and Social Care Management or equivalent is essential
Strong understanding of safeguarding, regulatory landscape and legislation framework
Previous experience leading and inspiring a senior team and management of varying disciplines
A proven record of CQC compliance.
Exposure to neurological rehab would be a considerable advantage but is not essential.
Location
The Hospital is located in York and is commutable from Wakefield, Leeds and Harrogate.
