About the Service & Company:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Registered Nurse (RMN/RGN/RNLD) to join a brand-new care home as the Registered Manager.
The specialist service has 33 beds and is for adults with acquired brain injuries, complex mental health needs, dementia and physical disabilities. This is located in Telford, Shropshire.
This is an excellent opportunity to be part of the brand new team and contribute to it’s growth and success.
You will be working for a leading provider of specialist nursing care for adults living with complex and high acuity needs.
The role:
- As the Registered Manager, you will ensure both quality and financial targets are met. Facilitating the development of quality healthcare services and ensuring they respond to the changing needs of clients, and reflect market trends and evidence-based practice
- You will have overall management of the service and provide leadership to the Clinical and Care team
- You will facilitate CQC inspections and adhere to the standards and regulations at all times
- You will contribute to the strategic development of the home, ensuring adherence to the Company’s objectives and business plan
- You will participate in the on-call rota
About you:
- You will be a Registered Nurse (RMN/RNLD/RGN) with a valid NMC PIN
- You will have a minimum of 3 years managerial experience, ideally as a Registered Manager within complex care
- You will have experience in working with external agencies such as CQC and Safeguarding
- You will have operational management skills, supporting successful delivery and development, budget control, people management and revenue generations
- You will have strong leadership skills with a supportive and inclusive management style
- You will have a drivers licence and access to a car
