As an RGN you’ll report directly to the Home Manager and your key responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Monitoring standards of care delivered to the residents.
- Ensuring all day/night staff on your shift contribute to the best of their ability to the efficient running of the Home.
- Ensuring residents’ needs are being met by interacting with them, resolving any problems where appropriate.
- Reporting any ill-health amongst residents and making requests for GP/Professional visits when needed.
- General Nursing work and personal care as appropriate
- Administering prescribed medication and maintaining the necessary records as per Company guidelines.
- Attending relevant staff meetings.
- Advising the Registered Manager of any incidents/accidents.
- Ensuring there is a clear and concise handover at every shift.

Hours of Work:
- 07.00-19.00 / 19.00-07.00 – (can be slightly flexible depending on circumstances)
- 36 hours per week
- Days and Nights
You Must:
- Have the right to work in the UK.
- Be willing to have an enhanced DBS carried out if required.
- Have an excellent level of written and spoken English
- Be fairly 'tech savvy' and able to use EMAR and online care plan systems.
