Description
As a Regulatory and Investigations Professional Support Lawyer you will be responsible for:
- Working with the disputes legal team to review and maintain a suite of standard form precedent documentation, playbooks, and guidance as well as knowledge management tools.
- Contributing to internal (including trainees and qualified lawyers) and client training programs by organising, writing, and/or delivering training sessions.
- Contributing to the team's drive to streamline their processes, delivering the best quality advice to their clients.
- Providing regular advice, ranging from basic questions from trainees to research tasks from partners and other experienced lawyers.
Profile
A successful Regulatory and Investigations Professional Support Lawyer should have:
- Qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales.
- Ideally be an existing PSL or a mid-senior regulatory lawyer looking to transition into a demanding PSL role.
- Knowledge of some if not all of the following areas: range of regulatory work including contentious and non-contentious financial regulation, fraud and white-collar crime, and international trade including export controls, sanctions, and national security regulatory matters.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- A strong commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
