Description

I am recruiting for a Regulatory Finance with a utilities on the south coast. You will:

Completion of financial tables for the Annual Performance Report (APR) in compliance with Ofwat guidelines.

• Drafting of commentary as required by Ofwat.
• Management of audit of financial tables in the APR.
• Responding to Ofwat queries on the APR.
• Drafting responses to relevant consultations.
• Maintaining up to date populated versions of all Ofwat reconciliation models
• Management of tariff setting process for main charges and bulk supply charges
• Analysis of the impact of tariff changes
• To lead on key financial aspects of the five-year business plan to Ofwat (from 2027)
• Provision of monthly financial updates to capital programme approvals group
• Keeping appropriate records of capital approvals

Profile

You will have:

• Good understanding of economic regulation and the periodic review process.
• Relevant qualification to degree level or equivalent
• Experience of the water sector and/or regulated businesses
• Highly organised self-starter able to manage own workload.
• Ability to develop new approaches to meet complex and evolving Ofwat requirements.
• Team player able to work across the organisation

Job Offer

£55,000 - £70,000 PA DOE plus excellent benefits and bonus
