12 month contract role for a Global Banking client. My client needs a candidate that understands how RCSA is used to manage and mitigate compliance/Regulatory Risk within financial crime, markets and banking regulations. Hybrid model requires staff in the office 2 days a week, which is based near St. Pauls.
Purpose of the Role:
- Report to the Head of Central Compliance and discharge the Compliance Regulatory Risk & Control Oversight and Control function for Regional Compliance UK ('RC UK'), mitigating compliance risk and supporting the financial crime, markets compliance and central compliance functions.
- Carry out the Policy Coordination role for the Department, liaising with Group Compliance Policy Portal
Team. - Act as a Regulatory Risk subject-matter expert across financial crime, markets and banking regulatory
obligations and their impact on the London business, including liaising with the 2nd line and 1st Line,
overseeing their respective implementation of regulatory changes. - Coordinate the annual Compliance Control Self-Assessment (CSA) exercise for RC UK and liaising with
the IC Non-Financial Risk team (NFR) to support the over-arching London control self-assessment. - Coordinate the annual Compliance Risk Analysis exercise on behalf of RC UK teams, monitoring
deliverables and reporting to local Senior Management. - Liaise with Compliance Assurance on relevant Compliance reviews and assist with remediation of
findings where appropriate.
Key Requirements:
- Candidates must have the right to work in the UK (sponsorship is not offered)
- Banking experience in a financial institution on an international scale
- Strong knowledge of UK regulatory obligations and how they impact corporate and wholesale market
business.
