About the role:
As a Team Leader at Great Western Court, you’ll be part of a dedicated multi-disciplinary team within our bed-based rehabilitation service, ensuring a high-quality service is maintained.
As a Team Leader, you’ll oversee the development and implementation of care plans that are designed to provide meaningful choice and support to those in need of care and support, so they can access services to help them lead the life they want. We’re looking for people who will instil a culture of continuous improvement, through dialogue with people who need care and support and their carers.
The goal is to make sure residents enjoy fulfilling and dignified lives – and you’ll play a big part in that. You will lead the teams and create a workplace culture based on respect and dignity for those in need of care and support. You’ll also need to provide supervision and values-led management to a team of residential support workers.
About you:
Working at NVQ Level 3 means that health and or social care experience is required, and management experience is desirable, but above all we want someone that shares in our values. You can learn more about our values here: careers.gloucestershire.gov.uk/GloucestershireCounty/content/Our-Values/
You’ll also be able to demonstrate experience in managing and developing staff, alongside leadership abilities and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
You’ll join us on a shift basis, which will include every other weekend and sleep in duties as required.
