Relationship Manager, Dance, London (LL21)
Contract: Permanent, working 17.5 hours per week (Arts Council also recognises the benefit of flexible working as a valued part of the way we work, and welcome applications from individuals who require flexibility)
Salary: £37,521 (pro rata) per annum plus benefits including a final salary pension scheme, generous annual leave, and flexible and hybrid working.
Location: London (The role will be based at the office base listed; however, we are operating a hybrid way of working and support our staff to make use of remote working options when combined with regular on-site contact days with other members of the team, normally 1-2 days a week)
As an Arts and Culture Relationship Manager, you will manage a portfolio of funded organisations. This will include maintaining an awareness of their performance against their business plan and their funding agreement with the Arts Council, maintaining awareness of the artistic work and identifying their investment needs. You will contribute to the assessment of their applications, liaising with the Investment Centre and recommending funding decisions to your Senior Relationship Manager and Leadership team.
In your first few weeks in this Relationship Manager (Dance) role, you can expect to:
Play an advisory and developmental role, supporting your portfolio of organisations in furthering their artistic ambition whilst building their financial and operational resilience Support the Arts Council’s broader development role, offering advice to organisations not funded through the National portfolio and supporting them, for example, to develop funding applications.
To succeed in this Relationship Manager (Dance) role, you will need experience working in one or more of our art forms or cross-cutting policy areas and with arts and cultural organisations at the senior level. You will also need:
