Rent Accountant

​We are currently working in partnership with a Housing Association based in South Manchester, who are recruiting for a Group Rent Co-Ordinator on a temporary3–6-month contract with a strong possibility of extension.
The position is due to start as soon as possible with an hourly rate of pay of £26.29 - £28.93 via an Umbrella company (dependent on experience).
The ideal candidate will have recent experience in Rent or Service Charge within a Housing Association.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Updating rent on a weekly basis, property records and identifying anomalies

• Completing monthly rent reconciliations and other ad hoc reconciliations

• Dealing with rent related queries and providing information to customers

• Assisting with third party accounts preparation and collecting payments of income

• Calculating and preparing all income related journals and other journals to ensure accurate reporting of management accounts and balance sheets

Experience required:

• Rent or service charge experience

• Housing association background
