Then reach out! Kingston Barnes is now recruiting for an exciting position for a Rental Controller Officer for one of our clients working within the Trafford Park area.
The Company:
A company specialising in the hire, installation and maintenance of Diesel Generators. The company’s products apply to a variety of industries, and they have a solid customer base. They have steadily grown over the last few years and are now looking to take on a Rental Controller.
The Role:
Your role encompasses various responsibilities aimed at delivering exceptional service and maintaining operational efficiency. You will be the primary point of contact for customers, handling telephone inquiries, addressing their needs, and resolving any issues they encounter. Additionally, you will prepare hire quotes for both new and existing clients, ensuring accuracy in rental pricing data. Collaboration with our depot network is essential for coordinating plant allocation and scheduling logistics, while maintaining compliance with company procedures when processing customer purchase orders. Proactively chasing outstanding quotes and promptly reporting findings to the appropriate manager is crucial for streamlining operations. Your duties also include generating rental-related paperwork, such as Job Sheets, Delivery and Off Hire Notes, to facilitate smooth transactions. Furthermore, you will uphold the company's ISO 9001:2015 Quality and ISO 14001 Environmental procedures, actively contributing to our continuous improvement program.
Requirements:
• Good organisational and communication skills are required.
• Excellent telephone manners.
• Previous experience in telephone sales or customer service is required.
• Good IT skills, primarily in Excel and Word.
• Ability to learn in-house systems.
• Skilled in customer service techniques.
• Skilled in sales and business building.
• Flexible and accommodating to the needs of the business opportunities.
• Good commercial skills.
