Reporting Management Accountant

Quest Search & Selection are currently working with this omnichannel consumer business who have over 100 stores and a strong presence online and via their member's club.

The Reporting Management Accountant plays a pivotal role in the financial reporting and analysis processes.

Key responsibilities of this Reporting Management Accountant:

• Preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Conducting variance analysis and providing insights into financial performance.
• Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Assisting in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
• Creating and presenting management reports to key stakeholders, highlighting key financial metrics and trends.
• Collaborating with department heads to understand business performance and support decision-making processes.
• Conducting financial analysis to support strategic initiatives, investment decisions, and business planning.
• Identifying areas for cost optimisation and revenue enhancement.
• Supporting external audits and ensuring compliance with audit requirements.
• Providing documentation and explanations for audit queries as needed.

Key requirements of this Reporting Management Accountant:

• Ideally having 4-5 years + experience In Reporting or Commercial Accounts /Analyst/ with financial modelling or Management Accounts
• Have worked across multiple business units.
• Has good with internal and external stakeholders
• Strong proficiency in financial modelling, including integrated P&L, cash flow, and balance sheet, with expertise in utilising advanced functions in Microsoft Excel.
• Demonstrated experience in creating comprehensive receipts and payments cash flow forecasts.
• Holds ACCA/CIMA qualification or is in the process of obtaining it.
