SalaryWe have an exciting opportunity for a Pre Press Operator (Reprographics Operator) based in Northumberland. The successful candidate will be responsible for the accurate processing of all artwork that is approved for printing and following all procedures and processes.
Some of the main responsibilities include:
- To produce/create reprographic files from customers that are ready for printing
- Handle customer queries and requests and ensure that requirements are met to the best of your ability
- Be a Team player and support with all aspects including internal/external communications, scheduling and prioritising design work accordingly
- Ensure high standards are maintained and company procedures are followed
- Approve and offer advice on technical aspects where relevant
- Follow compliance and legislative requirements related to Health and Safety
- Ensure participation in all Occupational Health and Safety Environment training
- To assist and complete risk assessments, ensuring to inform line manager/supervisor of and alterations or activity
Experience/skills required:
- You must have a background in artwork origination
- Fantastic attention to detail
- Being able to prioritise your workload
- Able to meet set targets
- Flexible attitude towards tasks
- Enthusiastic
- IT confident
- Experience using Artpro and Illustrator
- Actively demonstrate a full understanding of GDocP/GLP
- Previous experience within a manufacturing environment
- Not essential but helpful: Digital printing and artwork experience
