- THE ROLE -
The post holder will work on the Digital Transformation research stream, which comprises of researchers from Ulster University and the University of Galway. They will be based at Ulster University. The post holder will explore the following topic: ‘how can we influence behaviour for digital adoption and in turn enhance the Digital Transformation of the rural and peripheral regions in the west coast of the island of Ireland (which span north-west, south-west and border regions, both Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland)’, working on the Atlantic Futures Project.
Atlantic Futures is a €4million Shared Island research project by Atlantic Technological University, Ulster University, University of Galway and University of Limerick, funded by the North South Research Programme.
We may create a 12-month waiting list for the same or similar roles within the Department / Faculty. The University reserves the right to extend the waiting list across the University if required for certain posts.
- ABOUT YOU -
The post holder must have:
- A PhD in one of the following areas, business management, economics, behavioural science, management, psychology, public policy, sociology, regional studies, or a related field. Candidates with a PhD near to completion will also be considered if in their final stages.
- Experience of working in a research environment involving the use of quantitative and qualitative research methods.
- Practical experience of qualitative and quantitative data analysis including statistical analysis packages (e.g. SPSS) and qualitative data analysis packages (e.g. NVivo).
