Role: Research Associate in Multi-Axial Composites

Job Purpose:
The post holder will conduct high quality research and development activities, focusing on developing novel multi-axial composites for complex loaded applications. They will be responsible for the set-up and development of the 3D weaving process to generate the textile materials required for the novel multi-axial material and will also be required to develop the design and analysis capabilities to facilitate the preforming process and work with the Ulster University team. The research will be conducted at the School of Engineering on the Belfast campus and at The Northern Ireland Advanced Composites and Engineering Centre (NIACE).
