Research Fellow In Dark Energy And Modified Gravity Studies

The Opportunity: The programme of work is to develop theories of Dark Energy and Modified Gravity, devise methods of testing these theories and applying them to large datasets, in particular ESA’s Euclid Dark Energy Mission. The researcher will work closely with Euclid’s Science Working Group’s and Euclid Science Ground Segment Team, and Euclid’s UK Science Data Center (SDC-UK) based at Edinburgh. This post is full-time (35 hours per week), however, we are open to considering part-time or flexible working patterns. We are also open to considering requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working.  Your skills and attributes for success: PhD in Cosmology, Astronomy, Physics or Maths, and experience in DarkEnergy and Modified Gravity Studies.
