Applications are invited for the post of Research Project Administrator for the Sellafield Effluent and Decontamination Centre of Expertise (SE&DCoE), and the National Nuclear User Facility in Radioactive Waste Management and Environmental Remediation (NNUF RADER).
The University of Manchester maintains the largest nuclear research and higher learning capability across UK academia. As part of this, the University operates the Sellafield Effluent and Decontamination Centre of Expertise (SE&DCoE), and the National Nuclear User Facility in Radioactive Waste Management and Environmental Remediation (NNUF RADER).
The SE&DCoE is a recently refreshed academic partnership between the University of Manchester and Sellafield Ltd. focussed on engaging academic expertise in the broad range of skills needed to deliver underpinning research into Effluent and Decontamination research in nuclear environments. The E&DCoE is a partnership between Sellafield Ltd. subject matter experts and a network of academics coordinated across the Faculty of Science and Engineering at the University of Manchester.
